Vinnie Jones has revealed an American investor rejected the chance to put money into Newcastle United because he didnt like their nickname The Magpies.During the chance meeting on a golf course, ‘The Axe’ advised the unnamed potential buyer to invest in his former club Leeds United instead.Newcastle owner Mike Ashley is looking to sell up after years of unrest among supporters.In fact, there were reports in November that he was in advanced talks with an American consortium.3
