Jarrod Bowen inspired Hull City to their first victory in four games as they narrowly beat struggling Millwall at the KCOM Stadium.Bowen gave the hosts the lead after just eight minutes, but they were soon pegged back with Shaun Hutchinson drawing the Lions level from close range.Bournemouth loanee Marc Pugh restored City’s lead before the break though with a smart finish, with Neil Harris’ men unable to get themselves back into the contest after the interval.
Bristol City 1-2 Birmingham
Birmingham reignited their play-off bid with Connor Mahoney scoring one and creating the other as they moved to within three points of the top six with victory at Bristol City.Mahoney’s deflected effort put the visitors ahead before he turned provider in the second half when his free-kick was headed home by Michael Morrison.Famara Diedhiou pulled a goal back for the Robins with a tap-in finish to set up a dramatic climax at Ashton Gate, but Garry Monk’s side held on for a valuable three points.
