I would LOVE Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to get the permanent Manchester United job, says former team-mate Wes Brown
Wes Brown wants to see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer get the Manchester United manager job permanently if he impresses during his stint as caretaker.United legend Solskjaer enjoyed a dream start to his brief tenure on Saturday as the Red Devils cruised to a 5-1 victory over Cardiff City in Wales.It was a strikingly improved performance from a United side which had looked bereft of ideas under former boss Jose Mourinho, who was sacked last week.Solskjaer was appointed as his replacement just for the rest of the season, with the club looking to appoint their next full-time boss in the summer.3

Judging from United’s performance, Solskjaer has quickly brought the fun factor back to the club

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino and former Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane have been strongly linked with the role, but Brown would prefer his old team-mate to stay on.I havent seen Man United play like that in a long time, he told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast following Saturdays win in Wales.You could see everyone was enjoying it and obviously for the previous manager they werent doing that, so there was something wrong.Ole has gone in there, got the smiles back on and just said go and play.If Ole can keep this going then I cant see a reason why we cant make the top four. Personally, I think it would be great if Ole gets the job full-time. I would like to see him stay if he did well.Obviously hes been told its until the end of the season, but that could always change, you know how football is. If he can start producing, keep winning and playing like that, anything can happen.Its nice saying we would like Pochettino and Zidane, but its not as easily done. If Ole did okay I dont see a reason why he couldnt stay on.3
