Neville also praised Solskjaer’s influence on the Old Trafford atmosphere, saying it was the best he had heard in a number of years.“The mood has completely transformed – the atmosphere was one of the best I’ve seen at Old Trafford for years and it was 0-0!”, he said.“If Manchester United had scored it would have been incredible.”3

Former United defender Vidic said a decision on the job needs to be made as soon as possible

Neville’s former team mate Nemanja Vidic, who was a guest on the panel on Sky for the match, claimed a decision on the job has to be made as soon as possible.He said: “I think they have to make a decision as soon as possible,” he said.“The new manager has to think about next season – if Manchester United want to challenge for the title then they will need some changes and I think Ole is already aware.”
